Many of the improvements and new features in the new Visio are available across all editions, but Visio Professional and Visio Pro for Office contain some additional functionality when compared to Visio Standard. Copying and pasting within the web app works with advanced document features.

As far as I know, the Visio professional and Standard version most differences are the templates. Some templates only could be used in. Visio Professional includes all of the rich stencils in Visio Standard , and adds additional stencils for business and engineering.
